Sales Director

Job Summary

Benu Networks is seeking highly effective, team-oriented, and motivated individual to join our Sales team. In this role you will utilize your diverse sales, technical background and communication skills to obtain commitments from new and existing customer to acquire Benu Networks products and services. You will have in-depth knowledge of sales strategy and methodology as well as customer decision and acquisition processes. You will develop sales strategies for your associated accounts and be responsible for directing other members of the Benu Networks Sales, Engineering and Support teams to ensure you meet your goals. Candidate should demonstrate a high level of expertise with IP and mobile networking and associated protocols that reside within service provider networks. You are expected to evaluate the customer’s business problems and sell a solution based on Benu Networks product portfolio and accompanying ecosystem.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Sell Benu Networks solution overview to existing and prospective accounts
  • Meet or exceed your business objectives
  • Develop and maintain senior executive relationships within the account organization in order to understand the accounts strategy, requirements, timing and decision making process.
  • Introduce and leverage other Benu Networks executives in the account to maximize success
  • Regularly report account activity to Benu Networks Sales and executive management teams
  • Pursue business interests with prospects and customers which are in the interest of solving customer problems with Benu products and services
  • Coordinate the response of RFPs and RFI’s
  • Maintenance of account profiles and activities in Salesforce
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers while managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

Minimum Qualifications/Education:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a senior sales role with a technical sales background
  • Experience in quota carrying sales role in the MSO North America market
  • Excellent market knowledge and existing relationships in Comcast, Charter and other MSO accounts
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written with ability to communicate complex technical and sales issues to a variety of audiences
  • Knowledge of L3 IP Networking and associated protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, B-RAS (DHCP, RADIUS), IPv6, Multicast, QoS, Tunneling)
  • Knowledge of evolved packet core networks (3GPP/LTE)
  • Familiarity with wireless access infrastructures
