Sales Engineer

Job Summary
Benu Networks is seeking highly effective, team-oriented, and motivated individuals to join our expanding Sales Engineering team.

In this role you will utilize your diverse technical background and communication skills to assist in the sales process by leading the technical sales process with new and existing customer opportunities. Benu Networks’ Sales Engineers will have in-depth experience with Benu Networks’ products and solutions. They will demonstrate a high level of expertise with IP networking and associated protocols that reside within service provider networks. The sales engineer is expected to evaluate the customer’s business problems and create a solution based on Benu Networks’ product portfolio and accompanying ecosystem.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver Benu Networks’ solution overview to existing and prospective customers
• Conduct Benu Networks’ solution demonstrations
• Architect the Benu Networks’ solutions into existing and prospective customer networks
• Assist in the response of RFPs and RFI’s
• Develop long-term relationships with customers while managing and interpreting their requirements
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

Desired Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in a technical sales role
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written with ability to communicate complex technical and sales issues to a variety of audiences
• In depth knowledge of L3 IP Networking and associated protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, IS-    IS, OSPF, B-RAS (DHCP, RADIUS), IPv6, Multicast, QoS, Tunneling)
• In depth knowledge of evolved packet core networks (3GPP/LTE)
• Knowledge of IEEE 802.1 standards
• Familiarity with wireless access infrastructures
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Familiarity with VMs, SDN/NFV, cloud services
• BS or MS EE/CS or equivalent experience
